Parakar’s Annual Team Event
This year’s annual team event was truly one for the books. Colleagues from all over Europe, came together in Breda for a few days of team bonding, learning, and celebration. From insightful strategy sessions to delicious dinners, every moment was packed with energy, connection, and inspiration.
We embrace the flexibility and freedom that remote work offers, but we also recognize the unique value of coming together in person. There’s something irreplaceable about face-to-face interactions, and connections that form when we’re all in the same room. That’s why, every year, we make it happen to gather in person, strengthening our bonds and aligning our goals.
A Milestone Moment: Office opening and CEO transition
This year’s event was particularly special, as it featured the grand opening of our brand-new headquarters in Breda. This celebration marked a significant moment in our leadership as Johan Opperman officially handed over his role as CEO to his daughter, Pleun. Pleun’s fresh vision and dynamic leadership promise to guide Parakar into an exciting and innovative future.

Beyond the formalities, the event was also about celebrating our shared journey. From doing sports together to casual conversations at dinner, every moment was an opportunity to strengthen the bonds that make us such a strong team.
