In Spain, labour laws mandate that companies adopt measures to prevent discrimination and ensure equal treatment and opportunities for all employees. To meet these requirements, Parakar has taken steps to implement a professional equality plan in collaboration with the Union.

Spain has implemented several measures to promote gender equality in the workplace, including the Equality Plan (Plan de Igualdad). An Equality Plan is a set of measures and actions that companies must adopt to ensure equal treatment and opportunities for men and women in the workplace.

According to the Spanish Law on Gender Equality, companies with 50 or more employees are required to implement an Equality Plan. This plan should cover areas such as recruitment, promotion, training, salaries, and work-life balance.

The Equality Plan should be developed in consultation with workers’ representatives and must be approved by the company’s management. Once approved, the plan must be implemented and monitored to ensure compliance.
