The job

As International HR Operations & Payroll Consultant Germany you will be part of the country team that is responsible for managing all our German HR & payroll services for our (primarily) non-European clients. 

HR Operations (0,5 FTE)
You will advise international clients on adapting their HR policies to German employment practices, acting as their local HR department. You support both local employees and expats with HR, labor law, payroll, and immigration matters.

As a sparring partner for management and colleagues across Europe, you collaborate closely with our headquarters in the Netherlands, our European subsidiaries, and global partners. You also manage relations with German partners in payroll, accounting, and legal.

Payroll (0,5 FTE)
You will support our German payroll specialist and Payroll Lead with outsourced payroll services, ensuring seamless and compliant payroll for our clients in Germany. This includes advising clients on the German payroll landscape, aligning systems and processes, and training colleagues.

As our clients’ payroll provider in Germany, you ensure accurate payments, compliance with local laws, and clear communication with customers. With your strong cooperative skills, you play a key role in connecting HR and Finance operations and delivering high-quality service in line with Parakar’s standards.

This is your job if

  • You hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and/or have the equivalent experience and mindset;
  • You are experienced in German employment law and have an understanding of the entire employment lifecycle; 
  • You have some experience in payroll regulations in Germany, or your are motivated to learn more about this; 
  • Ideally, you have experience in the domain of flexible, contracted, or indirect employment (ETT, Temp work, Professional Employment Outsourcing) or in contractor/consulting services;
  • Strong plus: experience with HR in multiple European countries; 
  • Professional command of the German and English language (C1 level or higher) both written and spoken;
  • Your flexibility and empathy have no limits given our global work environment and the multicultural backgrounds that you would be dealing with;
  • You are eager to learn, proactive, able to handle multiple tasks, and detail-oriented. 

Our offer

  • A starting salary of between €3150 and €4350 gross per month (depending on your experience);
  • An end-of-year bonus potential of 10%, depending on your personal and company goals;
