The job

We are looking for someone with a sharp business mind, an innovative take on payroll and experience in international payroll management to successfully expand our payroll product and payroll team to meet our customers' needs and to be a strong extension of our product portfolio.

At Parakar we provide a wide range of international HR solutions for companies and professionals that want to collaborate abroad. The payroll product is one of the key product lines of the Group Product portfolio, supporting both internal customers as well as external. 

Are you experienced in payroll management, and would you like to apply your payroll knowledge and business skills in a very dynamic international employment environment? We are looking for a Payroll Lead with international ambitions and inspiring leadership to step into the driver’s seat of our Payroll product. In this role you are responsible for the full scope of our Payroll product, from developing and strengthening processes, creating a profitable and innovative product portfolio and managing its service delivery to being an inspirational lead for your team of Payroll Consultants. As a Payroll Lead, you will be part of our Leadership team and report to our COO. 

Parakar is a fast-growing, international organization that offers services in 10 EU countries with clients located worldwide. We are looking for a future-forward, customer focused addition to our team that is enthusiastic about the dynamics that our industry brings. As a Payroll Lead, you will drive our payroll operations, as well as acting as a content matter expert when needed. You will work closely with all departments, however you will collaborate most with the operational leads for our other products.

This is your job if

  • You have a bachelor’s degree, and hold a relevant degree or diploma in payroll;
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leading or supervising role, being responsible for the business results;
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll;
  • You are motivated to work in an international environment that is focused on delivering complex HR, employment-, legal-, payroll-, tax- and immigration services, particularly in our international employment outsourcing context;
  • You have a good knowledge of the tax- and payroll regulations in preferably more than 1 country and you are able to manage and oversee this in all 10 countries where Parakar is located;
  • You have an excellent knowledge of the English language both spoken and written;
  • You are located in Breda/Amsterdam, the Netherlands or surroundings, as you’ll work hybrid from our Breda/Amsterdam office locations. 

Our offer

  • A starting monthly salary ranging from €4000 to €5750 (depending on your experience);
  • A very dynamic international working environment at a top location in Breda/Amsterdam;
  • An annual development budget of EUR 1000;
