General.

Payroll and payrolling is an overall term used for everything that involves paying employees and paying payroll-related taxes. It is the process a company goes through to pay their employees.

At Parakar we are an outsourced payroll organisation. Then payroll means that an employee can work for a company but will be on the payroll of the outsourced payroll organisation. In that case, the payroll organisation thus becomes an employer and provides staff on loan.

Work permits.

As a non-EU highly skilled migrant, it is required to obtain a work permit to work in Europe. This is permission to fulfil your job within a foreign country.

A work permit is a permission that only an employer can apply for. It’s an employment letter that needs to be issued to the employee before entering the country.

A work visa is a document that can be acquired by any individual to enter a specific country.

To obtain a work permit, the employee needs a job offer. After that, Parakar will guide you to obtain a work permit with a fast-track service.

Parakar provides work permits in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Ireland. Parakar has a certified sponsorship status with the respective authorities in relevant areas in Europe. Because of that we have access to the fast-track services for obtaining work permits. 

Parakar provides work permits with fast-track service because we are registered at the relevant local authorities. It however depends on the country of choice how long it takes. Without Parakar’s services, it can take you over months to obtain a work permit for some countries.

We offer work permits for highly skilled migrants. In general there are no work permit options for unskilled workers in Europe that we know of.

Ireland.

Parakar Ireland is your local employer in the Republic of Ireland. We offer native speaking HR experts combined with payroll services in a flexible and client-specific manner, while ensuring compliancy and transparency with Irish authorities, rules and regulations.

Parakar is accredited by the Department of Business, Enterprise, and Innovation (DBEI) under the Employment Agency Act. This allows us to be a compliant employment host in Ireland.

Yes, Parakar can provide work permits in Ireland to highly skilled migrants. Learn more about work permits.

The time it costs to hire an employee in Ireland depends on the complexity of the onboarding, for example when the employee needs a work permit.

But generally, an onboarding can be completed in about a week, so long as we have all required information at hand.

In the event of termination, employees are eligible to submit an unfair dismissal claim only after they have completed one year of service for the company.

International relocation support is included in our work permit service package for Ireland. Apart from that, we offer services with local partners, like house inventory shipping, house finding, etcetera. We like to think along.

Parakar is your PEO partner in the Netherlands. We have over 20 years of experience with HR and payroll in the Netherlands. Our native HR experts know Dutch regulations, tax systems and laws like the back of their hand.

Parakar is registered as Recognized Sponsor at IND (the Dutch government’s immigration and naturalization service) for hiring highly skilled migrants.

Parakar is registered with and certified by SNA, ‘Stichting Normering Arbeid’, the Dutch authority monitoring the correct application of the NEN4400-1 norm for labour leasing. A company certified according to standard NEN 4400-1 and registered in the Labour Standards Register (Register Normering Arbeid) offers employers who hire temporary staff or outsource work greater protection against fraud and illegality.

Parakar is also a registered and certified Member of NBBU, the Dutch Employer’s association of labour leasing companies.

Parakar is official member of the NICCT (The Netherlands-India Chamber of Commerce & Trade). This is a non-commercial, voluntary association of business concerns and professionals. They’re sharing an interest in business and economic relations between India and the Netherlands.”

If the employee is an EU-National, we can manage to hire an employee in the Netherlands within one week. If the employee is a non-EU national it depends on the visa procedure, our experience is that it will take a period from 4 weeks up to 2 months because we are an acknowledged sponsor at the Dutch authorities.

As an employer, you can build in a probation period up to 2 months at the beginning of an employment contract. This depends on the type of contract that you choose. At this stage, the employment contract can be terminated by both sides without any reason needed.

After this period, you can not terminate the contract at will as an employer anymore. At the start of our collaboration, we always provide personal advice, together with relevant documentation on terminations. Our labour law specialists are happy to advise you.

Parakar offers employment solutions for an unlimited amount of time in the Netherlands.

We are dependent if the candidate gets his work permit renewed after 5 years (in case they are here on a work permit and are non EU-nationals). At some point in time it may however make sense to set up your own entity. Parakar can support that and later on assist in managing the payroll for your own entity.

In cooperation with selected local partners, we can provide relocation, home inventory shipping, and house finding.

We’re officially accredited to this program of IND (the Dutch government’s immigration and naturalization service) as one of the first participants. We also cooperate with expat centers in the large cities in the Netherlands.

These authorities work together in regional Expat Centers. The AUG-Law allows us to collaborate via third-party employment for a period of 18 months. After that period we can think along which other options there are to continue your business activities in Germany.

The monthly minimum wage in France is €1,539.42. However, France is also known for its relatively high taxes and social contributions. Please contact us for a tailored cost estimation when you are looking to hire an employee in France.

We currently don’t deal with work permits but we definitely will in the future.

There are 15 different categories of contributions and taxes in France. Depending on the height of the salary, the employer’s contributions will be between 15% and 42% of the gross salary. The employee’s contribution will be between 20%-23% of the gross salary.

To obtain a work permit in Spain, the candidate or future employee must have a job offer. The company that offers the job must, among other things, have financial solvency and be up to date in its payments with local entities.

The candidate must provide his/her personal documentation as well as information that accredits having a matching professional qualification to fill the vacancy offered. (This documentation must be legalized in the country of origin and translated if the candidate is from a country that is not Spanish-speaking)

The company, through its emigration specialists, submits the application to local entities, and once the application is accepted the employee has to wait for the approval of the work permit.
